The Origins of Meditation Central

Meditation Central was created not from a place of perfection, but rather from a profound journey of personal healing.

 

There was a time in my life when everything crumbled around me. Grief, uncertainty, and emotional fatigue cast shadows over my days. Like many others, I sought something to cling to, something to ground me during overwhelming moments. That “something” turned out to be meditation, not merely as a means to find calm, but as a pathway back to my true self.

 

Through guided visualisation, breathwork, and emotional energy practices, I learned that healing doesn’t always manifest in grand revelations. Often, it arrives subtly, within the stillness between thoughts, the breath taken before action, and the choice to embrace softness instead of struggle.

 

This is the essence of why Meditation Central was created: to provide you with these same gentle tools, thoughtfully curated and rooted in authentic transformation.

This is Tavia Rising, and there’s a story behind that.

 

Over time, I’ve realised that we all embody multiple selves within us. For me, Tavia symbolises the grounded aspect that thrives in Head Space, practical, focused, high-functioning, and driven to achieve. This is the part of me that navigates the world, ensuring that tasks are completed.

 

However, there exists another self, one that is more introspective. This version is gentler, soul-driven, and intuitive. She represents my Heart Space, the one who connects deeply, experiences spirituality, and has faith in the unseen.

 

That’s the two sides of Tavia. And once I embraced her, everything transformed.
